Can anyone shed any light as to wether there is any difference in floorpans between a Fairmont and a Fairlane, EF or EL??
Reason being is there is no way I can get any floor mats over here in NZ to fit my Fairmont, but I can get Fairlane ones.

rear leg room is larger in the fairlane.

I have generic colour matched mats in mine, they are fine, except the back ones arent really big enough.

shouldnt be an issue

The Fairmonts are based on the Falcon sedan (SWB) chassis, the Fairlane is based on the Falcon wagon (LWB). The difference is basically in rear seat leg room.
