el fairmont vs falcon lights are different. You can see this by simply looking at the bonnet as well. THey have different bonnets, 1 bulges up and the other down. ( Fairmont Up from memory ). They also have different front bumper bars, and i think the front qtr panels are different too, but i am not exactly sure on that, but the lights, bumper and bonnet are different.

Buggered if I know. Easiest way to confirm this would be to ring someone like autobarn and find out what headlight protectors fit an EF Falcon, and which ones fit an EF Fairmont - if the model numbers are different, i think it's safe to say the lights are definitely different (and while you're at it, get the codes for the EL as well).

The EF/L Fairmont headlights are identical, the EF/L Falcon lights are identical. The falcon lights have a rounded edge on grille side of each lights, whereas the fairmont lights come to a 45 or there abouts degree at the grille side of light.
Very obvious when you look at them in person. As for the falcon lights being longer, well thats incorrect, they are both identical lengths, just one is rounded, one is pointed. oh and the internals are different from the different models also...
