I am have noticed that my car (6cyl auto 147,000k) has no power when climbing a hill, it will go back gears constantly and only have a real power over 3000rpm, i also noticed it got a bit warm only under load.

i have recently had the head reco and new gasket, i have a slight lifter nosie only when its hot on idle

maye the oil is to thin 15-60 penrite hpr15.???

i would say check the head gasket but since its recently been done.. i doubt that would be your problem.. but check and make sure anyway, have you checked your oil level? other that this i really dont know.. could be anything, airfilter could be fa*ked, plugs? im not sure..

Doubt it's fuel pressure, I'd expect that to be at high RPM - are all the coils producing a good spark?
Stick a spare plug in the coil leads, one at a time, and run the motor - is the spark nice and fat and blue/white?
Yellow/red spark=weak coil.

Lack of power going up hills is usually related to faulty coil/s.
