how hard would it be to put an nf interior into a ef falcon - im thinking of getting an ef and using it as a project and getting a nf fairline -rear damage- and use the engine and all and put the front panels on so how hard would it be to do a complete strip down and build up im also getting a factory to do it all in
The NF into EF interior mod shouldn't be too hard. In the club we've had of EAs with NC Fairlane interiors, and NA Fairlanes with EF Fairmont interiors, and there's a write-up about the latter on the site...

The NC's extra space was in terms of legroom; the width was the same and the seats will fit. I'm not saying there won't be minor complexities compared to just installing, say, an ED Fairmont interior. But it can be done. I just realised that the EF-into-NA article is not online at this time. But it will be soon!

thanks for that helpful info im following walinshaws transformation ef interior into a ea and probably do that because it looks a bit better than the early e-series interiors - would you know if an au or ba interior would fit? i might do the old switcharoo with my dads au before he sells it
ahh just to correct you there jack, it was an EL Ghia interior to an NA. Anyway, if you are going to use an interior from a Fairlane/LTD and put it in a Falcon/Fairmont you will have the modify the backreat parts of the seat as well as the side bolsters because they are smaller in the Falcon/Fairmont than the Fairlane/LTD. you would be better off getting a wrecked Fairmont Ghia and doing it that way, then everything will go on with out a problem
I'm thinking of getting 2 ghia rear doors, fitting my xr door trims to them and using the hole from the window winder to put electric windows in the rear.. What would i need to make them work? ecu mods?
