EF resonator onto AU?

Just a quick query,

will an EF resonator bolt into a standard AU exhaust system? Dad's has a hole in it (which is kinda weird considering its only 2 yrs old), so i'd like to put my resonator on his and put a straight through muffler on mine in place of it.

So - will the resonator from my car fit onto his car (mine has a 2.5" system but the resonator is a standard one)?

And also, is having my system with no resonator going to be ridiculously loud? I dont mind it being a little louder, but i dont want drone or to be over the legal noise limit.

Cheers for the replies!

Re: EF resonator onto AU?

If its non IRS it should fit

Car shouldnt be too much louder w/o a ressy, but i havent seen your system, so cant say for sure. There is also a slight risk of droning at freeway speeds
