I thought all you needed was to disconnect the battery for a half hour or so, then start driving normally. It may stall a few times during learning, but the EEC-V will get the idea after a few times. It is also best to decellerate at a few different speeds so the 'puter knows how to compensate for idle upon varying RPM decelleration rates.
Maybe I'm wrong on this, but thats what I did after a HG replacement! Also, the gear shifts were pretty sucky for a hundred kays or so!
Maybe I was just lucky!?!
