Has anyone bought thermofans from www.ozeparts.com? I'd be interested to know whether they are the exact same as EL ones or if they are the EF type. I'd also be interested to know whether they are high quality like the genuine Ford ones... $200 brand new seems okay to me.
Oh does anyone know who makes the thermos for Ford??

As i said on MSN Luke, i'll get a price for the EL ones for your ASAP. I realise ive been a little slack with the wrecker's prices lately but ive been flat out with work and every time i go there the manager (who is who i need to see about this kinda stuff) is never there.
If i can also jump in on this - whats the difference between EF and EL thermos? is it just that EL ones are variable speed? And if that its, what's so good about that?
Hey mate, don't worry about being slack =) I didn't intend to sound like I was waiting on you getting prices or anything. I won't be able to afford them for a while yet anyway I'm just interested to see if they are good quality and variable speed.

They're aftermarket ones, which apparently are actually a little quieter than genuine fans. Ford charges ~$300 for new genuine fans.
Just Falcons in Bayswater told me $180 for aftermarket thermos, that was a few months ago though.

spope, that's interesting that they're supposed to be quieter than the genuine fans. Do you know if they act the same as EL ones - or are they like EF ones? (I do realise they are listed as an EL part, but could be the same part number for EF and EL ones on ozeparts). I might try them out instead of hunting around for second hand ones.
BTW: when did you get the white dials?
