I just picked up a 17 inch electric fan with shroud from a Lincoln and there are 3 wires going to the motor. I assume that it is a 2 speed fan but what is the color code for the high speed, low speed and ground. They all have different color stripes on the wires. I tried to use a meter to determine ground to frame of motor but it would not read. I am going to change out the old mechanical fan on my truck. Any help would be great. If no help here I guess I will head down to the local Ford dealer and ask the shop manager but I have found them to be less than cooperative if you didn't buy it.
