do electric pumps need to be upright , or can the be lying down , mine was in the boot sorta near the wheel well , but have modified the boot area and it would suit lying down am just wondering if it will affect the pump at all

What type of pump is it (brand)? Most like Holley/Mallory etc won't like laying down.

neither i think , its about 100mm ling its grey , and its got FuelFLO on it thats all its got other than the "IN" on one end and "OUT" on the other

Sounds similar to an EFI pump. It shouldn't matter with that type of pump.

No idea. They just seem to be a borderline pump like carter. Not for use on mid/high hp applications thats for sure.
