Go to your local hardware store and pick up a bottle of Simple Green. Spray it on (with the 'foam' setting) come back 30min later and hose it off. Costs about $10 and will work just as good as that link you posted. I cleaned a dirt and oil covered EA engine bay (and underneath) with about 500mls.

Abit of time and patients and alittle effort will get engine bays clean, after that maintaining it isn't too hard at all. Heres mine.

Looks like the rocker cover is off an AU, all falcons up to that point had powder coated rocker covers, dropped on AU for cost.
