engine miss

Hey All,
I have a 95 EF2 Xr8 manual. At the moment I have a bad miss in around 4500-5500. It is driving me up the wall. Im going to put in new plugs tommorrow and then take it for a blat. I am going plugs first because the 10mm leads are $170 worth that i dont have at this point. So If anyone else has a suggestion. Please tell me some more.
Matt.
By the way i get my new 17x8 rims tommorrow.
So she wont look so stock!!!!.

Hi yah,

Had a bit of a miss in mine a while ago, (xr6 manual)it was mainly when you load it up going up a hill or the like. It was close to it's 90thou service so I put up with it,I had the injectors cleaned at 80thou so I thought it might be bad fuel etc but one morning - no spark - turned out to be two plugleads, and a new ECU.

Hope yours is just the plugs.

Tickford,

I know the feeling, had same problems @ 80,000, turned up one plug and a lead stuffed by perished rubber around the connecting ends.

Simple but annoying
