bepersistent Registered User Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 2	Engine randomly quits Hi All: I have a 2002 Taurus with the 24v Duratec with 110,000 miles. 5 weeks ago it started stalling once a week and wouldn’t restart for about 10 minutes. Symptoms: 1) Take a ½ -1 hour drive 2) Turn off the car for about ½ hour 3) Start up to leave 4) Stalls at the first stop! 5) Cranks over great, but that’s all it does 6) About 10 minutes later it’ll start up like magic I’ve taken it to a dealer and they didn’t find anything wrong, so they cleaned the fuel system. I have replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump and the problem still persists. Please help
