Anyone ever enlarged there T/B or MAF there self to increase size

for example.

65mm T/B enlarged to 70mm

Can this be done yourself or is it worth purchasing another T/B or MAF already bigger in size

Buy another one, aftermarket. imo. Esp maf they are calibrated to the size they are.
But the early engines are tuned that all the parts bassically flow the same amount. So all induction has to be changed from heads [atleast ported], inlet, t/b, maf and injectors & exhaust...
