How do u test the car using the computer. I hear all you guys talking about checking codes. How the hell do u check them let alone find what error it is.

i do belive you ground the sti....or to terminal #1( either or)

and # 5 to positive terminal with led or bulb...

The Gregorys service manual has the test procedure, etc. Available Kmart, etc

the ford computer works but hookin up a globe to some wires(sorry dont know) and u count the times it flashes and for how long and then u write all that down and u get ya codes. then the fun beginns, its funny shit, its like leave ur lhfront door open and unhook the battery for 10seconds then reconnect is close the door and turn key on... its very interesting to go through all of it.. but takes ages, dad and i did my car it took something like 2 hrs to do.. from start to finish.

i dont know where you read that, but the full comprehensive test procedure takes no longer than 3 minutes.

buy a manual and the tests is easy, but to do all of the tests and double checking will take about 30 mins not 3. by the way ben find a site thats better suited to your needs as a wanker
