hey guys in the future i'm thinking of putting extractors hi flow cat and exhuast on my 88 ea cfi gl sedan i was just wondering about expected costs i want a good systm for a decent price (good value for money) i don't have much of a cash flow because i have a girlfriend (greatest money waster known to man) i have a hole in my exhuast at the moment, so that needs to be done now, whats the cost of a decent exhaust also campared to a stock one??

I paid $240 for cat back 2.5 in Redback system

$505 for custom Lukey extractors (lengthened secondaries, take 50 bucks off for normal extractors) and 2.5 in High flow cat.

I paid $250 for new 2.5" exhaust and Lukey turbo muffler, and came with a 2 year warranty.

I had the same thing as you... hole in exhaust.

I think from memory I was quoted around $150-$160 mark to get the hole fixed which I opted for the 2.5" system.

I had the same problem with my EF.
I was quoted $270 to fix the ehaust with ford stock parts, that was for the 2 mufflers and pipes.

I too also decided that this was probably a good time to get an aftermarket system. I ended up paying $1400 for my system (fitted).

It consisted of the following:
Pacemaker Headers
Hi-Flow Cat
2.5 inch pipes (manderal bends)
2 straight through ESA mufflers
Chrome tip

Pretty quiet system, unless booted.

i just payed $295 for pacemakers from www.superplus.com.au and it costs about $30 packs to send them to you.
