it should roughly be around 160 kw
add a cam pod with cold air induction run on optimax advance timing 3 or 4 degrees you should get up arounf 180-190 kw

i've got an ea -
standard it has 139kw i've added a baby cam run only optimax (no timing advance) has a pod with cold air and is manual also has a pacemakers 2.5 mandrell exhaust 6lt high flow cat and straight thru muffler
i havent put it on a dyno but the et time of 15.33 and the mph of 89 says i've got 188kw going by the morroso speed calculator
i ran that time with out the cold air induction on the pod and had a fair bit of wheelspin of the line.

hope that helps
cheers .joe.

advance ur timing 3- 4 degrees to get the full benifits of running higher octane fuel do that and u'll notice a little more torque and quicker pick up not to mention a little more power

u'll have around 165-170 then with your induction set up and advanced timing

A simple rule to measure hp to kw is multiply ur estimated horsepower rating by .75
This will give a kilowatt output

vice versa for kw to hp

i took mine to a mechanic
at first he told me not to as he reckoned it will ping
but i argued that with the extra octane rating in the fuel it could support the advanced timing.
he ended up doing the advancement and i have never had the car ping

just tell ur mechanic to advance the timing till it starts pinging then back it of a little

the only downside is that you can only run pulp 98 ron fuel and you wont be able to use ulp cos it only has 91 ron

an interesting note is that the ef/el falcon has a built in knock sensor and so when you run 98 ron pulp the car automaticaly advances timing and you gain 4kw in power

Bs, with 6's only the EF has distributorless ignition, went back to a distributor on the EL. Base timing is not possible to change on EF's, but because it has a nock sensor it will up the timing till just before it starts to ping anyway.

PS. just because it dosent ping at idle dosent mean it wont ping at full throttle, because it advances itself again.

You reckon your car feels any faster? You think you can outrun commodores with that setup?

I want to do it but I just think that all the exhaust will do is make more noise.
