Preparing to work the EL1 XR8 Auto. has got extractors and twin 2 1/4 exhaust already on it.

currently sitting on 119.8rwkw

am currently upgrading to upper and lower Explorer intake manifold,
gt40p heads, crane cam 2031, st2027 roller rockers.

A few months down the track, will upgrade to a 70mm T/B and also 24lb inj to match the 70mm MAF


With the above mods, what power increase can i expect........

I saw an AU XR6 wagon in Alice Springs for sale once, it was second hand, was an exact copy except a wagon, and I thought it was just a look alike, but no it had the tickford compliance plate and the T on engine and everything, the bloke told us it is one of a kind. I still think it was a hybrid type car because it was actually a fairmont, but not a ghia...

Id expect more than 120rwkw with the extractors and exhaust with the 8, XR6's are quoted around 115? out of the box arent they?

that is the exact same set-up I had. I made 150rwkw..

not neccesarily. car is a S1 EL XR8 and had 170kw and is auto too.
stock they'd be about 110rwkw.

if the car was maual then maybe it would produce about 125-130rwkw after extractors and exhaust.

did you ever run the car down the 1/4 mile?

Throw on a unichip you will be able to get atleast 10-15kwrw extra with this.
