f250 vs f150

hello all... i have a quick question i want to ask you guys. i just picked up a f250 with a rebuilt 302 runs great. it has a t18 warner tranny in it and my buddy is challenging me to hook chains to his 2007 f150. my truck is a flat bed and the tittle reads 4000 pounds curb weight which i believe to be close. he seems to think he is going to pull me back no problem because he has a 5.4 liter and its pretty new. i was tryin to tell him about gear ratios and how i have a very low first gear so i figured he would just spin and i would hook up and pull slowly away. we were going to hook on asphalt so i figured i would take him but the only problem is he is always talkin about hookin and never does so im just curious as to what you think? f250 vs f150 i think hes kinda dumb myself maybe im mistaken. maybe the higher revs will be better.

Re: f250 vs f150

haha yeah thats what i was saying im willin to hook um up he keeps going on sayin how im going to break something but i doubt it. its either going to pull or not pull. yeah they are both 4wd but if i have it in granny gear and am in 4 wheel low i should have alot more gear reduction than him im guessin cause he has an auto and his first is like my second. so especially in 4 wheel low im curious to see what happens ive been lookin for videos but cant find any.

If you can get him to put his truck where his mouth is, post back and let us know how it went. Personally, I think you can take him

He who has the lowest gears, widest tires, and biggest arse, will come out on top! Make a video of it!
