hey guys.. can you help me out a bit?
i have just brought myself a new Marlin ute, although i dont pick it up for 5 weeks ,and im only 17 and get my P's in March :,( ...... i wouldnt mind a few mods on it straight away, but i dont know what to do.. thats where you guys come in!

what kind of power gains will i get out of a new headers/exhaust system?
worth putting a chip in?
i was reading on here someone put a Air Pod on their car.. anygood?

i hopefully want to get about 130-150kw at the wheels and spend about $5k..

You don't say whther yours is a 6 or 8 but guessing from your age and power objectives I'll go with the former. :)

For $5k I'd go with a turbo conversion... Course that might exceed your desired power level by a wee margin, hehe.

Or you could always chuck the 6 pack and drop in a nice 8.

V8 would have been nice, so will turbo but i'll be paying **** loads for insurance!

also.. driving my old mans car (AUII XR8) past the werribee race course..going home from work the other day i seen a fleet of new Falcons, and guess who was driving? John bowe! they were pulling in to BP to fill up, so we pulled in, we were talking to Bowe about them.. he was driving a (leave message here)!!!
they had been testing them at the Ford proving ground.
couldnt see much, everything was black, couldnt see in windows either. but from the outside, looked pretty HOT!
and guess what? the new Falcon WILL NOT BE AN -AV- due to the fact that AV means AVERAGE.
; )

could you imagin the crap we would cop coz FORD have an AVERAGE car? umm i can see it now.
