Fitting AU clear side repeaters to ED - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hey All,

Ive got some spare AU clear side repeaters here, went to put them on my ED but ive found that the actual bulb holder is larger than the AU one and dosent fit in...

How did you E Series people who have fitted them do it? Did you swap the holder with an AU one? Trim it down?....After that it should be a straight snap in to the current hole?

Any advice/tips appreciated

Cut two of the square locking blocks off opposite each each other..The E series used four while AU used two...You'll need to cut some plastic off the protection mould too, to make cover fit......

the globe holder thingy is rubber so trim it with a knife.. Do a search mate theres a pic in the forums with all you need to know.
They do look good once on .

yeah i trimmed em with the knife.
its also hard to put them on facing the correct way. 'Pointing forwards'. I uised some glue. did the trick :D

Definately worth the effort to make them face the right way.
You could also look at useing BA side repeaters.

and EED-250, i used the glue trick like yourself...works quite well! Thanks for that!

Ill take some new pics of my car for the gallery...ive just had my front end resprayed to get rid of stonechips etc..
