Has anyone had any experience with fitting Bonnet vents to an EA Falcon? Which fit/look best and is it relatively easy to do?

I like the moffet ones that get fitted as I think they suit the EA/EB/ED better than the catscratches.
Bonnet scoops and vents are easy to fit you just need to be carefull and have good colour matching. Go talk to a few body shops and get some prices I wouldn't expect to pay more that $300 to have them supplied and fitted.
I'll be putting some in my car by that's when I respray it so I won't have the problem of colour matching.

Do you have any images of these moffet vents?
I was looking at the EF and EL XR6 vents but I am not sure how well they would suit an EA.
Also looking at these universal vents....

Actually just found the EBGT vents at www.ssv.com.au and they look pretty sweet. How big of a hole would I have to cut in the hood? Can anyone give me the exact location of where to fit them on the bonnet? ie 25cm from edge of bonnet etc etc

That's pretty much what the Moffett ones look like I've got some good images of the Moffett cars at home that I'll post later.
I couldn't give you exact details becuase the ones that you can get won't be the real ones.
The best thing to do is get them and then place them on the bonnet till you find a place that you think looks good normally there placed just above where the air box is in the MPFI setup.

I would strongly advise against putting bonnet vents on a stock cfi ea falcon but if you are that intent on doing it then no ones going to stop you, but it is nearly as bad as putting a gt body kit on a stock falcon which i see regularly!!! But if you like RICE then go for it!

Im thinking of puting vents on my EA coz I wont to use the 1 of em to suck air in for the pod filter I just put in...

So would they actually help e n or not???

hehe thanks for your opinion Blue, wont be putting them on just yet I dont think....If everything goes to plan it wont be stock let alone a CFI for much longer.....

It would help StarkEA but only as long as you were running your pod inside a box which is completely concealed once you closed your hood...except for the vent of course!
Not too sure how it will be in wet weather though...bit of a vacuum...
The only problem with the bonnet mounted air intake I suppose would be that its a fairly low pressure area

yeah I was planning on keeping the stok air in take (soon to be upgraded) as well, I just thort the more air it sucks the better...
