confused Focus air con disfunction

I have a ford focus 1999 200.300km assembled in Germany.

When I push air con button, cold air starts coming inside. And everything is allright when the weather is under 30°C (= 86° F). Air con pump working normally.
But when it going a little heater air con stops working (warm exterior air coming inside). However Air con LED is on.
I've tried to diagnose the problem and saw that air con pump stops turning.

So for me it could be because of overheating of air con circuit. I saw a termal sensor on the pump's left side.

What do you think about this trouble? May be one of you have got the same? How to solve it? Any ideas?

Re: Focus air con disfunction

Hi
Before you blame the compressor (which is really expensive), hook up a couple of gauges and check if the operating pressures are within specs. It could be that it's low on refrigerant and when it gets hot outside the compressor gets overworked and then overheats. If this is the case, both pressures (high and low side) will be lower than specs. Also check for oil stains in the compressor itself an various joints in the engine bay, they're a good indicator of a possible leak. cheers

Thanks a lot.
This is the first time I have a complete answer on my question. A least the first time someone who thought before posting here.
Tomorrow I will test the system and I will give some news about it.
I hope you are right. It will be cheaper for me

Re: Focus air con disfunction

So, I saw that the hight pressure seems to be bigger that have to be. And in 20 minuts I've never seen my fans turning. May be it's just a problem with them. I will give you more information about my trouble.
