Here's a few things to try:
Check or replace plugs, leads, fuel filter, rotor cap, and rotor button.
Clean injectors.
Borrow a different computer.
Check or replace oxy sensor and MAP sensor.
Any vacuum leaks?
Check TPS voltages
Sounds like it's not giving it enough fuel at idle, when it's in gear it gets a little more to compensate for the load. This would explain the good idle in gear.
