Ford Mechanics in Philly area?

We have a 95 Ford Windstar that needs engine work - from what the local mechanic told us, one of the cylinders needs to be rebuilt (or some such thing), which bascially means the engine needs to be taken apart, and put back together... basically rebuilt.

Can anyone in the Philly area recommend some Ford mechanics that they'd recommend for such a job?

As a side note, is it better to just sell the car for parts or fix it then try to sell it fixed? The car is in great condition, aside from the engine. What's the best way to go about selling a broken car like that?? People who visit the usual sources like autotrader are looking for working cars...

try your local wrecking yard.
look for one with a warranty that its a good worker.
most mechanics should be able to fit it for you.they should be able to help you find one too.

good luck.

ps . is the windstar a model of car in the states or do you meen a windsor motor.

the ony ford vans we have are the European Transit van and the ford/mazda Econovan .
