Ford VCT system in Zetec SE?
(Im new here so I hope that I'm posting this in the right forum .. but hey, here goes nothing ...).
Im curious about the VCT system in the 1.7 Zetec SE for the Ford Puma 1.7.
Does anyone know how the phaser in the VCT system operates? Is it a 2/3-stage system with fixed changeover points or does it change the phase angle of the camshaft continuously?
Also, on what camshaft does the VCT operate? Some say inlet, some say exhaust, I'm getting confused here ..
