I have a 1994 Mercury sable wagon with 94500 miles on it. I have had to replace the front wheel bearing 2 times on each side. There is a front end knock when you drive over uneven pavement, that keeps getting louder until the wheel bearing is replaced and the cycle starts again. Could the failing wheel bearing be a symptom of another problem?

maybe your not greasing them up enough? and be sure to clean off all the old grease first, im told old grease is the no. 1 cause for bearing failure.

petrol is best for cleaning grease off.
