Fuel Consumption

Guys just wondering how many kms i can get out of a tank of fuel with an EB2 4.0L just cruisin lightly with out pounding the right foot ever chance i get.

On the open road the ED is good for 600km each 60l refill (10l/100km).

General commuting it ranges from 350km up. Usually 11~12l/100km.

My EB2 does 300-400km per tank around town. 500-600km per tank mostly highway.

My ED will do 560kms around town with the occasion drag and burnout.

I get closer to 800km on the freeway.

Comes from meticulous servicing and maintenance though. Expensive parts and correct tyre pressure.

Also I think I have a particularly good donk.

ok thanks guys. i just wanted to prove to my father a Falcon is no more expensive to run than anything else. He keeps trying to get up me for buying the EB. He trys to tell me that he gets 450km to 1 tank out of one tank with his VX Wagon. I replyed did you check how much oil it uses. hehehehehe

Mate - if you look after it and don't fog the guts out of it, then she'll return beautiful economy for its size. But unfortunately the cars like to be driven. They love a WOT. So, most people just kiss the economy good bye.

Yeah mine doesnt like a good kick to the right peddal. Seems to run alot better afterwards. but with fuel at 1.00 per litre in newcastle ouch.
