Hey everyone, long time lurker first time poster.

I recently bought an EB Falcon, supposedly CFI. Anyway I take the top off of the "tennis raquet" air filter, and there's a damn carburator type thing there. Is CFI just some dressed up way to say carburator ? Have I been screwed over with some frankenstein EB ?

It looks like a carby but it isnt. There should be 2 injectors there.

That's interesting, I was under the impression that CFI was not on any EB's.

BTW, it is EFI, just a very crude setup using only 2 injectors.

Series 1 EB's still came with CFi, the 4ltre mpfi came in the series 2 :)

yeah have fun it's a bitch of a job but very much worth it!
I've had my MPFI setup for 2 days and my rear tyres are nearly bald now from hard driving (not burnouts......well maybe one)
