It's all up to the fuel pressure regulator. It actually restricts the fuel going back to tank, which gives you the pressure..Best is after market variable regulators...Std f/p is 38lp I think.. In essence yes..
Tee off a pressure gauge in the fuel delivery line to read fuel pressure direct. Should be 200 to 250 kpa at idle. Clamp hose going into fuel rail and pressure should rise to at least 400kpa. If pressure does not increase fuel punp is faulty.
Also he wanted to know what the fuel pressure should be at full throttle as opposed to idle?
