A friend of mine has a car that is running a full spool. The car was modified for drags, but now is only being driven on the streets. What would be the go with the full spool? Leave it on, or replace with a standard LSD etc.?? The car is running a worked 308, around 300kw.
a spool is great for track work, but remember that the wheels will never unlock making gooing around roundabouts and interesting proposition.
I would put in a LSD but apparently there are plenty of people running full spools on the street (or so they claim)
If he causes an accident without a spool, he will be bending over to pick up papers.(community service).
If he causes an accident with a spool, he will be careful not to bend over to pick up the soap.

Is the mechanical diff just a style of Detroit Locker?? Or something better? And where did you buy it from, did the 600 include fitting. Genuine Ford 4pin LSD centres are about 550.
I'd go for a new LSD, or try a detroit locker, Spools are mint for straight lines, but I've worn out alot of rubber on the street, with mine, It just chews the crap out of them
