confused Gas absorber thingy (To hold bootlid up)

G'day

Does anyone know where I can get those thingies (Gas absorbers) to keep the bootlid open on the back of my EA Falcon and how much do they cost each? Are those parts readily available from Super Cheap/Repco etc?

Phil

Some places will actually 'recharge' the struts, but the easiest thing might be to grab one from a wrecker. Not sure where else they are available (except Ford of course).

Repco always have them in stock, supercheap and autobarn may have them but if not can be ordered and have them in within a day usually. You'll need 2 good ones too keep it up, one isnt enough, a pair brand new is around $30
