a problem i just stumbled upon

please be clear on the model you have, and wether its an american or australian model. some components may be the same, but some components can be a global difference.

Very noteworthy. A cousin of mine in England owns a '99 Escort estate (wagon) and apparently, if you want to, you can pull the key out of the ignition while your driving along. Too bad ford won't bring some small diesels over here, 2010 emissions be damned.

Hi, my young bloke just bought his first car a 1996 ef gli sedan about 3 weeks ago, yesterday when he came home he told me that he was unable to open the front passengers door from the inside.

Is this a common problem?, I remember the XD's used to have a similiar problem, any help would be greatly appreciated ~ i would like to fix it ourselves if we can & show him some maintence tips at the same time.
