Hey guys,

How do i get the inside grey surrounds off from around the windows?, also by doing this will i be able to take off the front grey plastic bar on the side of the windscreen?

The grey surrounds just clip in place. becareful not to break the surrounds as they damage easy.

I have recently replaced the hood liner in a NA fairlane and EF falcon. The surrounds clip on with push in clips.

to remove the surrounds use a flathead screwdriver and gently prise them away from their housings. Tedious job sometimes because you have to be careful not to break the clips.
The rest is straight forward, remove sunvisors and bracketry, remove interior light ( lense just unclips by squeezing the rearmost edge inwards ) The coat hooks are removed by first sliding the plastic coating off which reveals a phillips head screw.
Yes the front windscreen surround must be removed also.
Once you have all of the surrounding trim off you will see little black plugs holding the headliner in place...I used a large flathead screwdriver under each edge and prised them out. Make sure each screw driver is towards the centre of the plug as much as possible to avoid breaking them.
