I havea 94 5.0 and does not have powe. It runs but not like it should, I was sheking it out at night and I saw that the sparkplugs ar glowing and that the coil is arching. I got new plugs, cables, rotor, distributor cap, and an msd coil. And the problem is the same. Do any of you have an idea?
Well, you did what I would have done in that situation. Sounds like something is grounding out on the block and wreaking havoc with the ignition system. I would check all the wiring for missing insulation and areas where they could ground out on the engine. I have seen wires melt together inside the plastic wrap. You have to dig a little to make sure they are in good shape. Maybe someone will post with some more ideas.
