Good Oil?

Hi guys just a quick question.

The Mrs and I have just brought a EB XR8. We pick the car up this afternoon and the first thing I am going to do on the weekend is oil and fluids.

I was thinking of using Mobil 1 for engine oil, do you think it maybe a little thin for the new Windsors and should we go a semi Syn?

We us 20W 50 in our other 2 Windsors but they are much older engines.

Used to be Mustang1966coupe.

Check how many k's its done first. Mobil 1 Syn is probably a bit thin. Go for the 15w-50. Similar to the Pennzoil Multivis or Penrite HPR 15 which is 15w-60. Shell also do 15w-50 in their Helix Plus.

Thanks mate, I has done just on 120,000 K's. I thought the 5W 50 might be a bit thin, but wanted to ask peoples opinions. I will just go the Helix 15W - 50.

Besides Mobil dollars will go HRT's way. Helix is good enough for Dicky, it's good enough for me.
