Good onya Jack for closing that thread on "how fast will she go"
It scares me to think that kids that have a couple of years experience are driving at those speeds on the roads.

I lost a very dear girlfriend of mine (passenger) in a road accident, and from the state of the vehicle and the police report, speeding was the killer. I don't care if you blokes kill yourselves, but have a bit of respect for your passengers and other road users. If you want to speed, get on the track.

Obviously as a Club, we will be eternally treading a fine line between promoting fast cars, yet responsible driving. Arranging proper quarter mile-timing track sessions and encouraging the safest driving on the roads is one the club will be dealing with this issue.

A few months ago, I wouldn't have thought of closing a thread like that, but things have changed dramatically in that time.
