I need to find out a good place to get my Na fairlane serviced in the ACT as I am new to the area, and don't know who to trust or a place where I can get good service
rang around today and the best estimate I got was $1100 for that price I will ship the car back to SA where I can get it done for 1/3 of that.. but that is a last option at the moment as I need to take lots stuff with me..
I m only in canberra for a short time longer, I need it fixed and ready to drive the 1900Km back to SA. on the way here it was using 10.2 liters of fuel per 100kms over the hole trip. I hope it will be the same when I get it fixed...
lately i've been taking my car to ultimate tunes in phillip. they're pretty honest and so far have done good work on my car.
u might also wanna check out stiles automotive, also in phillip. their add in the yellow pages says they're ford specialists so could be worth a shot. may as well check some other places while you're in phillip.
In the end and $986 latter I finally got it done at Dyno Tune Belconnen the head needed to be staightened and other small stuff a little more then I want to pay but have a 6 month 10,000 km aust.wide-warranty hope it goes well didn't want worries. looks good...
VRS set looks alot bettter then the old one......
The only question i didn't ask is what is the white glue stuff on all the gaskets anyone now? I will ask next time when I drop back for a check over in 1000 km
Thanks for the input everone...happier now
