got my new radiator
As fate would seem, my old radiator busted a seam and needed a quick weld job. Got qouted $200 for them to rip it out, weld it, install it and fill it up with coolant. Or $20 and they would simply weld it after i removed it. I went for the $20 option.
Took it in this morning, got told it'll be an hour so i went home. As soon as i got home, i got a phone call from them telling me that my core is stuffed, FARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So they said they can recore it for $180(just recore, no install etc) or $210 for a brand new one. I chose a brand new one. Took an hour for them to get it in stock, so i then drove out and picked up the new one.
I installed the new radiator and i don't know if your guys remember, but i posted a problem with my cooling system earlier and that the heater was always cold-cool. Not anymore!!!
It is heaps hot now, and it is keeping pressure. Not to mention the extra 40kw i got!!!! :s3
