THE OTHER DAY I HAPPENED TO SE AN EB/D TICKFORD SIX CYLENDER IN A WREACKERS, IT HAD T/FORD HEAD & COVER. I THOUGHT THEY WERE ALL RED(MAROON)? DOES ANYBODY KNOW THE STORY?

Was the Tickford emblem cast into the cover?

Only factory green cover I have seen on a Falcon is for the LPG sixes.

YES, IT WAS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE COVER ON MY EDXR6, WITH THE WINGS CAST INTO IT & THE "T" ON THE FRONT OF THE HEAD. THE COLOR WAS FINISHED TO THE SAME STANDARD ALSO, IT WAS DEFINATLY FACTORY. NOT 'LPG EITHER,

Don't take this as being nasty but what colour was the car, it might have been an attempt to colourmatch the rocker cover to the car. I personally have never heard of any colour other than the red.

THE NC FAIRLANE SPORTSMAN SIX CYLINDER, WAS ACTUALLY A TICKFORD MOTOR, TO DIFFERENTIATE THEY PUT A GREEN ROCKER COVER ON IT.
