Further to your post on buffing, is any foam pad you get in an auto paint suppliers of sufficient quality, or are there good and bad ones?

It's been a while but from memory there is different grades of foam pads depending on whether you are actually buffing a fresh paint job or shining up existing good paintwork.I have used the meguires pads.You need to get the special adaptor to fit on the buff machine then the different pads have a velcro back to stick to that.I bought my original back plate and pads from autobarn so they should have a listing on the different pads..I did have a listing somewhere i'll try to dig up if i can find it...H-T-H
