sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but am only beginner
I have just pulled head of my ED to replace gasket and cant seem to find specs for the torque needed to tighten the head bolts.
Also does the gasket need to be "run in " at all?
need to drive 700kms as soon as i have put it all back together.

Torque all head bolts to 40Nm, and then go a further 90 degrees. Most head gaskets available do not require re-torquing so once it is all together it should be fine. Also make sure you use new head bolts as they are only suppose to be used once.
