header tape?

hey guys was thinking of putting header tape around my jmm race headers is this a good idea??? any benefits??

You would think the engine bay temps would be down. By how much though, your guess is as good as mine.

it helps with the engine bay temps to come down but i heard that after a while the pipes start to rust away, what about getting them HPC Coated?

i got wrapping on my extractors in my cortina.mine are starting to unwrap pain in the ass.as for the heat they still get bloody hot.on a turbo car i think it would help slightly but i think its overrated.(my 2 cents)

Sorry mate but its a waste of time.
They also make the extractors rust
I agree & am also using a Ceramic coating.
Try JetHot coatings
