Heavy mod of a 2005 Lariet
I recently bought a 2005 Lariet crew cab without a frame or running gear. The cab has everything from the grill to the back window . It even has both batteries. I also bought a 1993 school buss with a 5.9 cummins that has 155,000. miles on it. I am thinking about shorting the buss frame and putting the new cab on it.
The one thing that is going to be a problem is making the electronic instrument panel work with the 93 motor. I talked to some Ford mechanics and they thought that I would be better of doing away with the Ford instrument panel and replacing it with manual gauges. Any advice would be appreciated.
