Hey Guys

After letting my bro drive around the EB for a while, ive noticed tonight that the hinge system on the boot is stuffed

Anyone had any experience in this and whats invovled in fixing it

The hinges are ok, it just wont stay open, I dare say the spring system is stuffed

Gaz They operate by way of Gas Struts, the same as the bonnet.
You could either get new ones, or get them re-gassed.
See easy fixed.

I had to secure the braket that the gas struts fit onto behind the seats.It had broken away as the spot welds came away.I just used some self tapping screws.The sides of the back seat has to come out to get access..
Thats if struts are o/k but not working..Dangerous too...
