does any one know how to pop the bonnet when the cable is snapped?

I tried all afternoon pulled the grill of but i cant get my fingers in there to slide the catch over

what do i do?????????

If ya got the grill off, use a long-handled screwdriver to push the tang at the top of the catch towards the driver's side. You can either do this from on top of the bonnet catch plate (push screwdriver in from front - may have to put a bend in the screwdriver) or push screwdriver in from the passenger side of the plate (at rear of plate), again pushing the tang at the top of the catch towards the driver's side. Tang is only small, and protrudes slightly above top surface of the plate!

yeah i got it i used a coat hanger and fished it over thanx 4 the advice
