I've just picked up my GTP from Rob the magician!!!
The car has now done 20,000 kms so it was due for its birthday.
I also wanted it fine tuned to make sure there will be lots of happy faces for the FF VIC xmas bash on Saturday. (and lots demos too)
Anyway here are the results now . . .
258 Kw Rear Wheels
346 HP Rear Wheels
387 Kw Fly Wheel (Calculation based on 1/3 loss through drive train)
Not bad for an Auto.
Mods are:
Full Herrod Zorst
Uni-Chip
'open mouth' air induction
High flow cats
Stainless steel muffs
K&N or similar air filter.
That is a major MAJOR result Cam!!! And rightly so that you're so happy!
Geez these Boss units are starting to get some serious grunt with bolt-ons now... I hope this continues and that they get the attention and respect they deserve for such gains.
Now I have to find something to fix my 100rwkW deficit (as measured on Robs dyno too!)

Gee what great results Cam i'm impressed with these results as you know i have exactly the same mods as you all done by Herrods, but i've only done 5500klm ,still a bit behind you in klm.but it certainly has brought a smile to my face also.
cya at the FordForums cruise tomorrow.
Cheers John

Great Cam, the dyno results show it's a lot better, does the "bum of the seat" dyno feel a greater increase in power, and at what points in the rev range?

10,000 kms / 20,000 kms
308.6 HP RW / 346 HP RW = 37.4 HP more power
230.1 Kw RW / 258 Kw RW = 27.9 Kw more power
The only thing I have change since the 10,000 is the cold air intake and put on 10,000 kays.
Thanks Rob, your have no idea how big the smile was as I took off down the road this arvo.
Very happy Cam :)
Nice figures Cam, but I would think there would only be a 1/4 loss through the drive train. Generally the HP output at the rears would be the KW output at the fly
Cam, what tyres are they on your car, they dont look like Dunlops?

I have been in this car - and woah!! He came to visit me at a cruise I invited him to - and took me as well as a few mates for a "spin" - it's taken place over an STi (modified) as the best/fastest/gutsiest car I have ever been in - and it shows why :D
Im waiting for new tyres as Im running around on my old crappy track tyres at the moment. I think somtime early Jan a visit to Calder's 1/4 strip would be fitting.
Keep your eyes out for the 1/4 times post.
