is it possible to unbolt a carby from the manifold and give it a 180 degree turn and bolt it back so that the fuel inlets come from the right instead of the left and would the carb have to be retuned cuz the primaries will now be to the front of the engine instead of the back??? i keep getting different answers from mechanics..

see no reason not have a tunnel ram that carby are turned 90
degrees at least no drilling and tapping.

if it turns you on do it performance difference not a bit
but there must be some reason for your modification.

if its a double pumper.. just swap the bows around.. Worked fine for me a loooooooooong time ago
I dont see any reason why you couldnt do it with a VS .. I have never tried it.
