Question Horsepower figures

Hey guys,
I put my EA on the dyno the other day and got 162.8 HP at the wheels. My car is standard except 2.5 exhaust.

Is this pretty good? What are some of the power figures you guys have got?

Also how do i convert this to kilowatts?

Cheers

Thats about 123Kw.. which is GOOD..

Hope this is right::
Kw to Hp divide 0.76=H.p
Hp to Kw mult 0.76=Kw

yeah its good but a bit unrealistic.
standard is 86kw. 99kw with extractors and 2 1/2 inch exhust and chiptorque chip. thats the for ea multipoint using chiptorques figures.
using crow cams figures for the 4l engine its 100kw and 120 with cam and exhust upgrade.
so either its one hell of an exhust system or the dyno is inacurate as most of them are.

Yeh i thought it seemed a bit high. Although my car does feel quick for an EA... even after drivin my dads EL XR8... and the dyno place is a reputable place in perth.

Maybe after 300 000kms there is a lot less friction in the motor hehe. It will be interesting to see the power output after the motor gets rebuilt in january with some head work and better cam(crow or mock...hmmm) and full exhaust system.

Oh ho not this dyno thing again!! They ARE different but go back to the same one after each mod. By the way go to the tocnsw site we had a few dyno days and the numbers are there to compare..
