Does anyone know how to get this flakey old sh!t off without ruining the mag (EB XR8 rims). Any help would be appreciated :-)

Daz, have you had a look at the complete range of Autosol products? I spent quite a bit of time with the rep in Canbarra and he explained the full range to me. The Autosol paste in the tube is the most abrasive of a three degree ssytem of wheel polishes. Without seeing the condition of your wheels I would suggest you start with the lightest product (can't remeber the name of it but it is a liquid in a black bottle)

Take the tyre off the rim and hit it with paint stripper, gentley scrape what u can then blast off the rest with a H/pressure cleaner!
