Could be a number of things including ISC problem, Map out of parameter, leaking intake, Mass air meter and injectors no longer capable of correct transfer function.
My E303 cam would do the same thing with idle but this is the nature of the grind, the way of getting around idle issues was to use an eec tuner which did rectify the problem and also increase overall drivabilty and re******t horse power.
Would love to know your cam specs for matter of interest.
