howdy cobba

1) get ur injectors cleaned, and or replaced with suitable ones to your cam and tb setup. sounds like stock ones no longer fit the bill.

2) cold start tap tap tap, means ur lifters are stuffed, and you need new ones. once the car warms up, oil is flowing over them nicely and noise goes away (i dont know the technical reason for that, maybe the oil bonds everything together nicely.

3) stop writing in caps, its very ANNOYING

4) have a nice day

Hunting idle is a computer mapping issue. Mine does the same at times and is a side effect of having less intake vacuum due to the cam. Go for MOTEC or live with it.......

Oh forgot. Ask any HSV Walkinshaw owner about hunting idle...... Real problem due to the TB setup apparently. I guess it's the price you pay for power!

Could be a number of things including ISC problem, Map out of parameter, leaking intake, Mass air meter and injectors no longer capable of correct transfer function.
My E303 cam would do the same thing with idle but this is the nature of the grind, the way of getting around idle issues was to use an eec tuner which did rectify the problem and also increase overall drivabilty and re******t horse power.
Would love to know your cam specs for matter of interest.

Barry
